I am delighted to be working with a leading London-based mixed-use property platform to find them a Chief Operating Officer to partner with the CEO and lead operational performance across a diverse, experience-led portfolio.
This is a key executive role focused on translating strategy into delivery, driving commercial performance and ensuring operational excellence across multiple verticals.
Key assets include retail, F&B, flexible workspace and serviced living and this role will oversee them all.
Ideally, the incoming candidate will have extensive knowledge of London real estate and understand how and where to invest in order to maximise value across the entire estate.

Key responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day operations across all business verticals, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
- Translate business strategy into clear, executable operational plans
- Drive operational consistency, best practice and high standards across all assets
- Own operational P&L performance, delivering revenue growth and cost efficiency
- Work closely with asset management and leasing teams to optimise asset performance, occupancy and income
- Enhance customer and occupier experience to drive footfall, engagement and dwell time
- Oversee health & safety, compliance, and facilities standards across the portfolio
- Leverage data and insights to inform decision-making and improve performance
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture across teams and departments
- Optimise systems, processes and reporting to support scalability and future growth
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, partners and occupiers
- Support board and investor reporting with clear operational insight
Key requirements:
- Proven experience as a COO or senior operational leader within real estate, or mixed-use environments
- Strong track record of managing multi-asset portfolios and delivering commercial performance
- Experience across retail, F&B, hospitality, coworking or experience-led environments
- Strong commercial acumen with P&L ownership
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical capability
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving and complex environment
