I am delighted to be working with a growing business delivering high-quality construction projects across the leisure and hospitality sector, now looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Senior Cost Manager to support their continued national expansion.
This is a Midlands-based role with responsibility across projects nationwide, offering a strong mix of commercial ownership and project exposure within a fast-moving, design-led environment.
The Role
You will take a lead position on cost management across multiple projects, from early feasibility through to final account. Working closely with internal delivery teams and external partners, you’ll play a key role in ensuring projects are commercially controlled, efficiently delivered, and aligned with programme expectations.
Projects are typically within the leisure and hospitality space, including restaurants, fitness, and experiential concepts, requiring a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Full financial modelling and cost management across multiple live projects
- Budget setting, cost planning, and financial reporting
- Procurement of contractors and suppliers
- Contract administration and management
- Managing variations and final accounts
- Supporting project teams to drive value and efficiency across schemes
About You
You will be an experienced QS or Cost Manager (RICS qualified) with a background in construction, ideally with exposure to hospitality, retail, or leisure projects. Comfortable operating across multiple sites, you’ll bring a hands-on approach, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to work at pace.
This role suits someone looking for a step up into a more senior, autonomous position within a growing business, or an established Senior QS seeking a more dynamic project environment.
What’s on Offer
- Salary up to £70,000 + Paid Travel
- Midlands base with national project exposure
- Opportunity to work on high-profile leisure and hospitality schemes
- Clear scope for progression as the business continues to grow
If you’re looking for a role where you can take real ownership and be part of an ambitious growth journey, this is a great opportunity to consider.
