With more than 4,000 employees, the organisation operates with a strong commitment to operational excellence, public service, and national prosperity.
Through its Infrastructure Engineering function, the Property Department is responsible for maintaining and protecting the organisation’s built environment. The Engineering Team
The Engineering team consists of approximately 56 full-time professionals providing 24/7 engineering support across three critical sites. Support statutory inspections, compliance testing, and life safety monitoring activities.
Act as an Authorised Person (AP) for low-voltage electrical and/or mechanical systems in accordance with Safe Systems of Work.
Provide accurate technical updates for shift handovers, reports, and operational documentation.
Compliance & Safety
Work collaboratively with OEM contractors during planned maintenance and emergency interventions.
Promote a strong Health & Safety culture, acting as a safety ambassador on site.
Ensure service delivery standards and compliance obligations are consistently met.
Participate in the weekly on-call rota, incident response activities, and resilience exercises.
Complete required training, competency assessments, and annual performance objectives.
Essential Qualifications & Certifications
City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline
IOSH Managing Safely certification (or willingness to obtain)
