Salary: Grade 7 - Starts at £38,169 rising by yearly increments to a maximum of £42,612 per annum
Please note that the above salary is based on working 37 hours per week. If this role is part-time or you are appointed on a part-time basis your salary will be prorated to reflect this. Exceptions to starting salary may apply if you are an existing Devon and Cornwall or Dorset Police Staff employee substantively posted to a role at the same grade.

About the role:
We’re seeking an enthusiastic, self‑motivated Facilities Officer to join the Facilities Management Team at Devon & Cornwall Police. Reporting to the Estates Facilities Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our police stations and properties across Cornwall are safe, well‑maintained, and fit for purpose to support the Force and its staff.
In this role, you’ll oversee both planned and reactive maintenance, as well as minor refurbishment projects. You’ll manage a small team and act as the primary point of contact for contractors and suppliers within your area.
It’s an exciting moment to join our growing Facilities Management Team as we begin rolling out a programme designed to deliver modern, high‑quality facilities that meet the diverse needs of one of the UK’s largest police forces.
Please note: There is a travel requirement in this role for which a pool car is provided but you will helping to manage an estate which covers a large geographical area across Cornwall.
