PFI Project Manager

PFI PM QS  Focused


We are seeking a PFI Project Manager with a strong Quantity Surveying background to support a leading PFI contract in East Anglia. You will oversee complex capital works from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with regulations, contract requirements, and best practices. This role requires a high level of expertise in cost management, contract administration, and stakeholder management.

Salary: £65,000 plus Bonus + Competitive Package (Circa package £75,000 wth bonus+ )
Location: East Anglia
Contract Type: PFI Facilities Management Contract


Key Responsibilities:



  • Project Management & Capital Variations – Lead and support capital works projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest standards.


  • Cost Management & QS Expertise – Oversee the financial aspects of capital projects, including budget management, cost forecasting, and cost control. Manage capital variations and ensure accurate valuation of works.


  • Regulatory Compliance – Ensure all projects are in compliance with RIBA stages, CDM regulations, and other industry standards.


  • PFI Contract Administration – Manage lifecycle works, contract obligations, and ensure the alignment of cost, quality, and time deliverables under the PFI contract.


  • Stakeholder & Risk Management – Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to manage risks, track project progress, and address any cost, time, or quality issues that arise.


Who We’re Looking For:



  • Proven Project Management experience within healthcare or PFI contracts, with a QS background.


  • In-depth knowledge of PFI contract administration, lifecycle works, and effective stakeholder engagement.


  • Experience managing capital works programmes with a keen eye on cost control, value engineering, and contractual compliance.


  • Ability to take ownership of projects, ensuring successful delivery within the defined scope, budget, and time constraints.


  • Expertise in the technical and financial management of construction projects, ensuring both cost efficiency and high-quality execution.
