Build Recruitment are working with a key client in the South East to source a Regional Engineering Manager: Home Counties - £60k - £65k. + Company car or paid mileage.
The Regional Engineering Manager will provide technical and operational building services engineering support and act as a regional expert for all sites. The role includes resolving technical engineering challenges for operational teams.
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Regional Engineering Manager lead on all matters relating to assurance as well as statutory and regulatory compliance.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Responsibility for technical management information regarding safe work practices and operations of building services engineering systems.
- Timely technical and management support to project delivery teams to ensure business objectives are met.
- Compliance with Health and Safety policies to maintain statutory and mandatory compliance.
- Monitoring contractors, ensuring quality, conducting audits, and advising on actions as needed.
- Acting as an Authorized Person for high-risk system safety rules.
- Leading technical investigations and supporting safety teams with incident investigations.
- Providing technical management support in operational and regional team meetings.
Skills and Abilities:
- Engineering qualifications of (HNC) or higher.
- Health and safety qualification is desirable.
- Significant engineering experience with stakeholder engagement.
- Indirect supervision of technical staff and influencing operational teams.
- Good IT skills, knowledge of health and safety practices, and professional accreditation are desirable .
Essential:
- Applicants will need a full and clean UK Driving Licence. (Company car or paid mileage).
- This role would be subject to security vetting.
