Build Recruitment are working with a Public Sector organisation based in central London to source an interim Maintenance Manager: £28 - £31 per hour (umbrella).
The role is initially a 3 month contract whilst my client goes out to permanent advert.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Maintenance Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all of the Health & Safety requirements are maintained and that the site and its engineers adhere to the latest regulations and standards ensuring 100% compliance.
Leading a very capable team consisting of an Assistant Maintenance Manager and Multi-Skilled Engineers on a single site but with a mixed property portfolio consisting of Commercial and Residential buildings, the Maintenance Manager will also be responsible for scheduling PPMs and keeping an open dialogue with stakeholders to ensure that disruption is kept to an absolute minimum.
The Maintenance Manager will work collaboratively with other Heads of Service to develop/improve asset management system, as well as ensuring that assets registers are kept up to date and used to plan lifecycle replacement of plant and equipment.
About you:
- Experience of Scheduling and delivering PPMs across a mixed-use property portfolio.
- Experience of managing teams of multi-skilled engineers.
- Experience of Health & Safety requirements and statutory and regulatory compliance.
- Up to date technical knowledge of ACOP's, FGAS, fire and environmental control measures.
- A degree (or equivalent) in a Building Services discipline.
- A Health & Safety qualification (IOSH or NEBOSH).
- Stakeholder Management.
