Build Recruitment are working with a leading Client's Consultant to make the key appointment of Senior Moves Manager for one of their flagship contracts in West London: £55k - £64k + benefits.
Initially a 1year FTC, this position has the potential to become full time permanent.
Reporting to thew Strategic Head of Accommodation, the Senior Moves Manager will be responsible for the logistics of office relocations and moves, providing a comprehensive end to end move service. Primarily based at in their West London premises, the Senior Moves Manager will be responsible for ensuring the seamless delivery of all moves across the client's estate, which would entail national travel at least once per month.
The Senior Moves Manager will have direct line management responsibility for a Moves Manager (satellite office) and an Events Coordinator, as well as the indirect responsibility of an outsourced project delivery and moves management team.
With typical projects being "General Moves" valued at circa £10k and above per project and "Major Moves" valued in the many £100ks+, the Senior Moves Manager will have circa 6/10 lives projects at any one time. All projects will be delivered in a live environment with a key focus on minimising disruption and allowing the client to maintain as close to "Business as Usual" as possible.
About you:
It is expected that the Senior Moves Manager will have experience in:
- Delivering moves and change projects of various scale in large corporate offices.
- Inception to completion office refurbishment and relocation projects.
- Working knowledge of Building Regulation Standards.
- Delivering proposal documents via 2D & 3D visuals.
- Space Planning.
- Stakeholder Management.
- Managing a multi-skilled project team or internal and external resources.
It would be advantageous (but by no means essential) if applicants had experience in:
- Conceptual Design.
- Furniture Specification and Procurement.
- AutoCAD.
- A Health & Safety qualification.
Due to multiple stakeholder groups (internal and external) my client is looking for a well organised, thorough, and articulate Senior Moves Manager who possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
