Build Recruitment are working with a London based charitable organisation to source a Facilities Manager: up to £42k + benefits.
My client is a community-based charity providing accessible space for an array of programmes across the arts, sports, and education.
Reporting to the Director of Estates, the Facilities Manager will be responsible for planned and cyclical maintenance, maintenance schedules of buildings structures and all aspects of Health & Safety.
Boasting an eclectic property portfolio, the Facilities Manager will be responsible for a number of Listed as well as modern buildings and building conservation.
It is expected that the Facilities Manager will have detailed and up to date knowledge of relevant statutory legislation, policies, and procedures applicable to facilities management and building services, this will include PPM and Statutory and Regulatory compliance.
About you:
- Knowledge of operational Facilities Management.
- Knowledge of mandatory and statutory building compliance.
- Knowledge or experience of technical services.
- Ideally having a degree, or equivalent, in a relevant field aligned with Facilities Management or Property Management (e.g., Building Surveying, Build/Property Maintenance, engineering).
- Experience of Listed Buildings.
- Experience of managing a multi-site property portfolio.
Due to multiple stakeholder groups (internal and external) my client is looking for a well organised and thorough and articulate Facilities Manager who possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
