Our client are a renowned real estate organisation, operating across the UK and globally who operate across the commercial and residential sectors. They currently have an opportunity for a newly-created role for an Engineering Services Manager, based at a new-build and high profile tower building located in the City of London. This role will report into the Head of Engineering, and essentially helping shoulder the responsibility for managing FM service provider and specialist subcontractors, helping to take ownership of hard services engineering and energy monitoring for the building. The building is mostly let, with extensive fit-out works ongoing and will involvve handover from main contractors as well as liaison with incoming tenants. Guideline salary is £60-62,000 + Bonus for this position, as well as standard benefits such as private healthcare, pension scheme, etc.
Prospective candidates must be fully qualified in either electrical or mechanical engineering, ideally through a full apprenticeship, and with at least five years of experience managing within the commercial M&E maintenance environment. Our customer may also consider strong M&E Supervisors who have the ability to step up. Along with core M&E qualifications, additional training such as HV Authorisation, IOSH/NEBOSH, ILM Training, etc will all be beneficial and particular responsibilities should include:

- Maintain KPIs & Contractor SLAs for Building subcontractors
- Regular Meetings with Tenants & FM Service Provider
- Energy Efficiency - Metering, BMS & Solar Initiatives & Reporting
- Oversight & Technical Support for Electrical, Mechanical and HVAC Systems
- Reporting into Head of Engineering and FM/Property Director
