Build Recruitment are working with a public sector client in the Southeast of England to source a Head of People: Temp to Perm £53k - £58k.
Reporting to the Group Director, the Head of People will be instrumental in shaping, leading and developing HR team in the delivery of a transformational HR service .
The Head of People will be responsible for reviewing, improving, and developing HR processes around policies and procedures, and contractual requirements, in relation to the employee life cycle.
Working closely with other Senior Leaders the Head of People will lead on implement the Organisational Development Strategy - this will include staff learning and development activities.
About you:
- The Head of People will be MCIPD - fully qualified and evidence of ongoing CPD as well as having experience in a HR management role in a large organisation.
- Sound knowledge of best practice recruitment and selection processes, for a wide range of disciplines, and employment/engagement arrangements
- It is essential that applicants hold a full UK Driving License.
