Build Recruitment are working with a London based NHS Trust to source an interim Fire Risk Assessor. 3 - 6 month contract paying £30 - £39 per hour.
Reporting to the Head of Estates, the Fire Risk Assessor will be the competent person for fire and will ensure that that the Trust complies with all aspects of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (RRO) legislation. The Fire Risk Assessor will work closely with all relevant parties within the hospital and externally to ensure the provision of a fire safe environment for patients/staff/visitors and to facilitate sustained care and well-being in relation to fire safety.
Working closely with multiple stakeholders, the Fire Risk Assessor will provide and receive complex information regarding fire safety legislation, Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, NHS HTM05 Series and other associated fire guidance for the benefit of the Trust.
It is expected that the successful candidate will have specialist Fire Safety Courses e.g. Fire Service College or NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management and or relevant Fire Service experience.
Qualified to Degree level in fire safety or relevant fields of expertise, being a member of the Institute of Fire Engineers/or relevant professional body is highly desirable.
