Commercial Mobile AC Role
Swansea
£36,000 +Van
Our client who are one of the largest, most succesful FM companies have an exciting opportunity for a mobile AC engineer to work across a small handful of their sites in Swansea. The role as this mobile AC engineer will be a permanent role working Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 with a call out rota. As this is a mobile AC engineering role you must have a full driving licence, you will be given a van which you are able to use each day. Ideally we are looking for a mobile AC engineer who has a strong background of maintenance and history working in commerical sites.
Purpose of Job
- To carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive Repairs to Split Air Conditioning Units, Variable Refrigerant Volume Systems, Chillers, Air Handling Units and other associated plant within various buildings.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out in line with task schedules and industry best practices.
- Identify any defects found and provide parts list and estimated timescale to carry out remedial works.
- Attend site and carry out reactive repairs as instructed by administration team.
- Complete refrigeration usage sheets for all gas used.
- Complete OP6 & OP6A log sheets accurately.
- Ensure refrigerants are transported and handled in accordance with current Health & Safety Regulations.
Must Have
- Must hold a full driving licence
- Must be flexible regarding working hours,
- Must be available to join a call out rota.
Must Have Experience
- Experience of maintaining Split Air Conditioning units
- Experience of maintaining Variable Refrigeration Volume systems
- Experience of large chiller units
Trainined Required
- Formally trained in refrigeration maintenance (City and Guilds)
- Certified in Safe Refrigerant Handling,
- Formal Electrical Qualification an advantage (City and Guilds).
