Build Recruitment are working with a public sector organisation based in the Southeast to source a Building Surveyor for a 6 month contract paying £25 - £30 per hour Umbrella PAYE.
Reporting to the Head of Surveying, the Building Surveyor (Fabric and Asset) will be responsible for a small multi-site region, producing a detailed building fabric condition evaluation using their CAFM system to include but not limited to:
Building Structures, Roofing, Doors, Windows, Decoration, Flooring, Fixtures & Fittings, HVAC, M&E and Building Services.
Additional duties will include supervising the work of contractors, inspecting works during and on completion of projects, issuing variations, and additional orders where necessary.
About you:
Experience in condition surveying and competence in building surveying and M&E
Experience specifying and supervising works.
Good knowledge of relevant legislation such as CDM
This is an essential car user position and applicants must have their own vehicle (mileage paid).
