Build Recruitment are working with a London based Public Sector organisation to source a Project Manager (Capital Planned Maintenance) for 3 month contract paying £26.93 per hour.
Reporting to the Senior Projects Manager, the Project Manager will be responsible for assisting the Senior Projects manager in the delivery of the Council's Capital Planned Maintenance Programme, ensuring industry's best practice is adopted including scoping specifications, tendering works, evaluating bids and ensuring robust contract and monitoring processes are in place.
The Project manager will also be responsible for assisting in the management of refurbishment and maintenance projects for the corporate estate portfolio and seeing through project delivery from inception to completion by reviewing programme delivery, cost plans, risk registers, contracts, and site monitoring to assure the delivery of building projects follow best practice construction management and adhere to all statutory legislative and council policy requirements.
Working with numerous internal stakeholder and external supply chains, you will be extremely customer focused, a natural collaborator, with strong interpersonal skills and possess a high level of credibility and authority.
A relevant qualification aligned with Estates Engineering or Project Management is preferable, as is possessing Membership of a professional body; CIBSE, MIET, IWFM, MRICS MAPM etc.
