Role Overview
As a Data Centre / Critical Site Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining highly resilient systems where uptime is paramount. Working within a professional and safety-focused environment, you will gain hands-on experience across critical power and infrastructure systems, supported by an experienced engineering and management team.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive works in line with agreed schedules
Complete all maintenance tasks to high technical and professional standards
Produce clear, accurate technical reports and documentation
Utilise company systems to ensure contractual compliance and accurate record-keeping
Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and clients
Provide first-line out-of-hours call-out support when required
Escalate site incidents promptly and professionally
Supervise subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently
Support management with quotations for additional or remedial works
Attend team meetings, briefings, and training sessions
Submit accurate weekly timesheets
Maintain strict compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications & Authorisations
Level 2 and Level 3 Electrical qualifications
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
HVAP and/or LVAP authorisation
Skills & Attributes
Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented
