Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Electrically Biased with Mechanical Knowledge)
The Opportunity We are currently seeking an Electrically Biased Building Services Engineer with strong mechanical knowledge to join a specialist engineering organisation operating within one of London’s newest state-of-the-art developments.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with modern plant equipment and advanced building systems while contributing to the efficient operation of a prestigious commercial facility. You will play a key role in maintaining the performance, reliability, and safety of all building services.
The role operates on a two-week alternating shift pattern:

This is an excellent opportunity to work with modern plant equipment and advanced building systems while contributing to the efficient operation of a prestigious commercial facility. You will play a key role in maintaining the performance, reliability, and safety of all building services.
The role operates on a two-week alternating shift pattern:
- Week 1: 07:00 – 16:00
- Week 2: 10:00 – 19:00
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems.
- Maintain and service critical plant equipment including:
- Combined Heat & Power (CHP) systems
- Fan Coil Units (FCUs)
- Diesel Generators
- Chillers
- Advanced Air Handling Systems
- Building Maintenance Units (BMU)
- Diagnose faults and implement effective repair solutions to minimise downtime.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations, industry standards, and company procedures.
- Support the day-to-day operational performance of the building as part of a high-performing engineering team.
