We are seeking an experienced Drainage Engineer to join our growing team, working across multiple sites within the M25 corridor. We are seeking an experienced Drainage Engineer to join our growing team, working across multiple sites within the M25 corridor. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional looking for long-term stability, competitive remuneration, and the use of a company vehicle, while working on varied and technically challenging projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and assess drainage systems to identify blockages, defects, leaks, and failures
- Carry out and oversee drainage installation, repair, and maintenance works to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant systems
- Prepare technical reports and specifications, providing clear recommendations for repairs, upgrades, or improvements
- Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver projects on time and to specification
- Implement preventative measures to reduce the risk of flooding and waterlogging
- Apply sustainable drainage solutions, including rainwater harvesting and green infrastructure, to minimise environmental impact
- Ensure all works are completed in full compliance with health & safety legislation and relevant industry standards
- Proven experience in drainage engineering or a closely related role
- Strong technical knowledge of drainage systems, materials, and installation methodologies
- Ability to work independently, managing multiple sites efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional approach when dealing with clients and contractors
