The Role: Construction Delivery Manager

Sector: F&B / Commercial Kitchens

Location: London

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000

I am working with a leading specialist in Food Service Projects and we are seeking an experienced Construction Delivery Manager to lead their projects through the construction and handover phases - RIBA Stages 5 & 6.

This role focuses on ensuring the client’s F&B design intent is accurately implemented on site. You will act as the conduit between designers, client, contractors and suppliers to protect your client’s interests and ensure their design and installation goals are achieved. You will be part of a proactive, supportive team where your expertise will directly contribute to project success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the client’s F&B interests during construction fit-out and handover.
  • Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to address design and technical queries.
  • Review manufacturing and shop drawings and assess technical submittals on behalf of the client.
  • Conduct site inspections, installation reviews, snagging, and handover checks.
  • Monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with design intent and specifications.
  • Provide solutions-focused advice to maintain timelines and quality standards.
  • Support the client team during operational handover and post-completion reviews.

Ideal Candidate

I would love to speak to candidates coming from kitchen consultant or client-side construction project management background. You may previously have worked with a kitchen distributor or contractor and have experience in site coordination. You will need excellent communication skills and be able to quickly grasp and deliver on client expectations. You could be working on up to 5 projects at anyone time, so those organisational skills will need to be top notch too. This role offers a great opportunity to make your mark, and the right person will be able to build a team as the role grows and develops.

Skills & Experience

  • In-depth knowledge of commercial kitchens and back-of-house F&B environments.
  • Strong communication skills, with confidence engaging clients and project teams.
  • Ability to interpret and review technical drawings and equipment schedules.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented problem solver who can anticipate and resolve on-site issues.
  • Proficiency with CDE document management systems such as Aconex or BIM360.
