Job Title: Contract Support / Helpdesk (Reception Based)
Location: Southampton
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (40 hours per week)
About the Role We are seeking an organised and customer-focused Contract Support / Helpdesk Coordinator to join our team. This role is based at reception, where you’ll be the first point of contact for visitors and play an essential part in supporting both the helpdesk and contract administration functions.
As a Contract Support / Helpdesk team member, you’ll be managing service requests, coordinating engineers, and ensuring smooth communication between clients, contractors, and the management team.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Manage and prioritise Contract Support / Helpdesk requests via email, phone, and internal systems.
- Issue daily and weekly reports to the management team.
- Allocate work orders and planned maintenance tasks to engineers.
- Provide contract administration, record keeping, and finance reporting support.
- Liaise with clients, managers, and the engineering team to ensure service levels are met.
- Answer switchboard calls when required.
- Contribute to process improvements within the Contract Support / Helpdesk function.
- Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
- Highly organised and confident managing multiple tasks.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); PowerPoint experience is an advantage.
- Calm under pressure and adaptable to changing priorities.
- A team player who can also work independently.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English are essential.
- Previous customer-facing or helpdesk support experience is desirable.
- Higher-level qualifications (A-levels, HNC/D, or degree) would be beneficial.
