As a Shift Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining various electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the seamless operation of equipment, adept change management, and proactive maintenance. We are seeking an individual with keen attention to detail, deep engineering knowledge, and a commitment to delivering excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor equipment support systems, promptly addressing any incidents and maintaining detailed records.
- Supervise a diverse range of systems, including generators, fire alarms, and water systems.
- Utilize operational systems such as BMS, PMS, and CMS to optimize system performance.
- Collaborate with external partners to ensure top-notch service delivery.
- Lead planned preventive maintenance (PPM) initiatives.
- Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications.
- Experience in precision engineering environments.
- HND in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in Critical Environment/Data Centre operations (preferred).
- Accreditation in Electrical/Mechanical disciplines (e.g., NCC, REC).
- Proficiency in diagnosing low & medium voltage electrical and mechanical/HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with relevant electrical safety standards.
- Analytical thinker with strong Root Cause Analysis skills.
- Familiarity with Change Management methodologies.
- Methodical approach to procedures and issue tracking.
- Strong decision-making skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of BMS and proficiency in PPM/CAFM systems.
