Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location:
Morpeth
Salary:
£31,853 per annum based on 38.75 hours per week
Full time, permanent.
Core hours Monday - Friday 08.30 - 16.30
On Call rota covering 1 in 4 with £135 standing payment
Overt time paid at time and a half after 38.75 hours
Double time paid on a Sunday
23 days holidays plus bank holidays
Our client a leading facilities management company based in the North East is looking for a mechanical maintenance engineer to join their facilities management team on a healthcare contract based in Morpeth.
The Role:
The role purpose is to ensure that the Facilities are maintained to the levels specified in the Performance Standards of various contracts. To meet this, your key responsibilities will include:
- Servicing Steam Plant and boilers
- Servicing air handling units
- Pipework
- Working on pressure systems
- Legionella awareness - servicing thermostats mix valves and recording temperatures.
- TMV servicing
Qualifications:
HNC/ONC/C&G plumbing or mechanical engineering
The Person:
You will have an FM background
Be flexible, and happy to travel to other medical sites as needed
You will be required to pass an enhanced DBS check which will be paid for by the employer
