Role: Small Works Supervisor
Permanent
Location: Durham
Salary: £32.5-£35K
Our client is looking for a Small Works Supervisor to join their team based on a static site in Durham.
This a great opportunity to a work for an Industry leading Facilities Management company
The Role
- To provide initial costs/estimates for the client
- Record all works on the small works tracker. This will include the maintenance of the Small Works and lifecycle trackers, collation of all information relating to quoted Small Works, Lifecycle, and Unplanned Lifecycle works and management of all job specific paperwork from sub-contractors
- Working closely with the Operations Team to ensure they are informed of every project, especially if isolations / permits to work or Authorised person input is required.
- To contact Sub-Contractors and Supply Chains as required to progress works.
- Supervise all works from start to finish, ensuring all works are completed to correct standards.
- Ensure all Health and Safety standards are met and all relevant documents are in place.
- Producing programmes of work
- Collate and review invoices received from sub-contractors to ensure they are in line with agreed commercial terms and the values.
- Raising of purchase orders for work requests and goods receipting upon satisfactory job completion, ensuring Purchase Orders are costed to the correct project and cost codes.
- Preparation of payment applications.
- To support on finance activities including ordering of works, processing of invoices, debt recovery as required. Working closely with the management team to ensure rechargeable work is understood, captured, properly recorded, managed in line with contract protocol, and recognised for recharging purposes.
- To support the management team with the production of month end reporting for client issue.
- Responsible for Jeopardy Management, ensuring tasks are completed within the required SLAs reducing deductions and providing mitigation
- Liaise with staff , clients and departments.
- Ensure all KPIs are met with regards to small works.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous work experience with level 2 NVQ Qualification or equivalent.
- An understanding of Computer Aided Facilities Management systems.
- Have excellent communication skills, good telephone manner, and experience in customer care.
- Have a flexible approach to work, able to adapt to peaks and troughs in demand and be well-organised.
- Good level of computer literacy. Able to operate IT systems, particularly CAFM systems
