We are currently recruiting for a Hard Services Manager to manage the technical services across a local schools portfolio. Managing subcontractors, your role will focus on ensuring technical KPI's and SLA's are being met and the buildings are compliant. You will also act as the most senior point of contact locally, working closely with the customer to give a great FM service and also manage 2 other middle managers who cover compliance and caretaking. This role is site based with the office situated with one of the schools.

Duties of the role include:


  • Reproting into the regional seniot contracts manager, you will be the most senior on-site contact for the client.
  • Worling closely with the schools to make sure that the head teachers have high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Managing a team of 2 - Compliance Manager and Site Manager who in turn manage the KPI's on the contract and the caretaking team.
  • Acting as a point of technical knowledge for this hard services contract.
  • Engaging with subcontractors to complete engineering works as required, ensuring the correct permits are raised and site inspections of work are undertaken.
  • Ensuring the schools are technically compliant and safe for all service users
  • Manage project specific risks including the preparation, implementation, monitoring and review of risk management plans.
  • Manage and support Life Cycle planning and implementation.

The Applicant

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

 


  • Come from a FM engineering background
  • Experience within the PFI sector would be an advantage.
  • Experienced managing hard services KPI's for PPM and reactive maintenance
  • Able to work daily from the office in Dartford
  • Willing to travel as needed to a site in East London periodically (travel expenses covered)
  • Staff management experience
