Build Recruitment are working with a Public Sector client to source 2 x Mobile Team Leader (cleaning and medical equipment) based in Kingston.
Temp to Perm: £17.25 umbrella PAYE per hour.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, and overseeing a number of cleaning operatives, the Team Leader will be responsible for supporting the delivery of excellent clinical care for patients by having the right equipment and products available at the right place at the right time. Supervising a team of operatives to carry out cleaning and ensuring that optimum medical stock levels are maintained.
The Team Leader will also be responsible for checking of, and re-stocking equipment and consumables including the use of barcode and RFID scanners and electronic reporting.
- Organising cleaning and resources, including staff, to deliver to plan.
- Supervising operatives including adherence to process and H&S
- Ensure that all equipment and tools are functional and accessible, whilst examining equipment, and consumables for damages or missing items and actioning appropriately.
Key Responsibilities:
The Team Leader will monitor equipment stores and log the used or stock items in real time using hand-held scanning devices and linking with logistics and the CAMs system. Ensure accuracy to procedures, taking due care to ensure equipment and consumables are correctly labeled, stored, and distributed.
The Team Leader will manage and control the issuing and usage of cleaning materials on site, making sure that the correct cleaning materials are used for the task in hand and that there is adequate stock held in stores. This includes the scanning of consumables linked to logistics and the central asset management system.
These positions are on a temporary to permanent basis with each Team Leader covering one of the shifts below:
1: Sunday - Wednesday 20:00 - 07:00
2: Thursday - Saturday 20:00 - 07:00
It is essential that applicants have a full UK Driving License with category C1 as well as being prepared to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
