Facilities Account Manager
We are recruiting for a General Facilities Manager to join a Facilities Management team in Cardiff on a an exciting new contract.
In this role, you'll be heading up providing input at the construction phase and, once complete, deliver hard facilities management services
Summary:
- General Facilities Manager
- Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + Competitive package
- Location: Cardiff
- PFI/healthcare experience preffered
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the process of ensuring that all documentation in relation to the Contract at preferred bidder stage is produced, including flow down of the FM agreement and schedules
- During the construction stage, you will lead the process of ensuring that the company communicates with the Consortium in relation to all aspects of the construction.
- You will be responsible for the complete delivery of all the contract requirements within the contract relating to the provision of the Hard Facilities Management Services.
- The scope of services will include Mechanical and Electrical Services, Energy Management, aspects of Grounds Maintenance, and Lifecycle works & variations.
- Be the main point of contact between the SPV Consortium and the Authority Representative;
- Proactive leadership & development of colleagues and employees

Qualifications/ Experience
- Experience in a commercial, technical & management FM position, and experience & knowledge of complying with PFI contracts alongside a strong commercial understanding, preferably within a hospital or healthcare FM environment.
- You'll need to have a demonstrable understanding of Health Technical Memoranda (HTMs); working knowledge of SFG20 maintenance requirements & Statutory Compliance
- Good understanding of Health & Safety with IOSH Managing Safely certificate
- Profit & Loss Experience (P&L);
- Solid understanding of Payment Mechanisms within PFI contract or similar
- Have technical, commercial & leadership ability
