Trainee Facilities Maintenance Engineer
Salary - £24,000-£27,000 (EXPERIENCE DEPENDANT)
Monday - Friday / 08:00 - 17:00 - NO CALL OUTS

Are you looking for a new role after newly qualifying in a specific trade? our client, a great maintenance/groundworks provider based in Twickenham are looking for a new Junior multiskilled engineer to form part of their team due to new company growth!
A family run company, they offer great opportunities for progression and a large emphasis on putting their staff through further training in the long term, great for someone that wants more from a role than just the regular 8-5.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a reactive and pro-active maintenance service as per project requirements to all operational equipment
- Provide a multi-skilled maintenance service, which covers electrical and building fabric disciplines
- Liaise with contractors or external suppliers where required and clearly communicate technical issues
- Provide a service that ensures all key performance indicators are met
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance
- Take ownership of tools and equipment provided and ensure maintained to an appropriate standard, reporting any defects immediately
- Complete any required paperwork, produce reports accurately and on a timely basis

Experience/Qualifications:
- Appropriate up to date training to make use of relevant equipment/tools
- Experienced in using PDAs
- Fault diagnosis and resolution
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions (where able to do so)
- Ability to communicate effectively both in verbal and written communication
- Ability to effectively prioritise own workload
- Pro-active and positive approach to work
- Ability to provide a schedule of works for identified additional/remedial works
- Writing and following risk and method statements as required daily
- Good knowledge of building Statutory Compliance.
