Technical Team Leader (NEW ROLE)

£34,000 - £36,000 + Overtime

Monday - Friday / 40hr Week

Oxford (Easy accessible area)

Static (PARKING ON SITE)

Working across our biggest client's retail contract in the Oxford area, they now have opened a new opportunity for a more technical engineer looking for a new challenge on a site that's in a great location and easy access.

This role will include the identification and delivery of equipment based improvement programmes covering complex BMS and energy management systems through to more traditional building engineering services.

As part of a central support team it is essential that the Engineer operates as an Authorising Engineer and or Authorised Person.

Responsibilities:


  • Support the development of a truly business focused maintenance environment based on a sound knowledge of building services plant and equipment
  • Deliver appropriate technical training bulletins and tool box talks to support business focused maintenance
  • Ensure all maintenance techniques are relevant to business focused maintenance, best practice, and statutory requirements
  • Support regional teams with the upkeep of asset and PPM data and liaise with external agencies to ensure all Maximo information is up to date and accurate
  • Identify continuous improvement projects based on data from Maximo and information from various technical teams
  • Develop relevant asset and PPM performance measures to support the maintenance strategy
  • Support all technical teams on technical issues
  • Support the management of safety critical personnel
  • Undertake the role of Authorising Person for Electrical and certain Mechanical services
  • Ensure suitable Management Information is captured, analysed and presented to stakeholders that can clearly demonstrate continuous improvement through BFM and maintenance best practice

Experience/Skills:


  • Minimum NVQ/City and Guilds level 2/3 qualification in relevant engineering maintenance
  • HVAP (desirable)
  • Electrical or Mechanical background ideal
  • 3 years experience as a minimum desirable
  • Previous maintenance experience in a commercial environment
  • Be flexible towards work & carry out duties that may not be specific to your trade
  • Very well presented
