Café/Bar Manager
We are recruiting for a Bar/Café Manager to join a vibrant and modern establishment in the heart of London to manage a friendly, sociable team of staff, developing a new menu and managing an array of exciting events including exhibitions private parties, product launches and meetings.

Duties
- Managing the food and beverage provision for functions and events
- Supervising catering and waiting staff at functions
- Recruiting and training permanent and casual staff
- Planning staff shifts and rotas; costed rotas against turnover expectation
- Budgeting and establishing financial targets and forecasts
- Monitoring the quality of the product and service provided
- Maintaining stock levels and ordering new supplies as required
- Interacting with customers if involved with front-of-house
- Maximising sales and meeting profit and financial expectations
- Overseeing the management of facilities, e.g., checking event bookings and allocation of resources/staff.
- Planning new promotions and initiatives and contributing to business development.
- Keeping abreast of trends and developments in the industry, such as menus or trends in consumer tastes
Candidate Requirements
- Previous management experience in the catering industry, a managing a team of staff
- A real passion for food with previous experience creating and developing new menu's
- A commercial and operational understanding of the Catering Hospitality and Events industry
- Good financial acumen with previous experience managing a P&L
