The Role: Maintenance Business Partner

Location: The South

Sector: Restaurants – Maintenance – PPM

Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 pa

One of our lovely restaurant clients is looking for an experienced Group Maintenance Manager to join their amazing property team.

As a Maintenance Business Partner, you will be responsible for managing maintenance issues across your region, and support the operations team on related maintenance issues in a timely and efficient way. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders and departments across the business, to develop and ensure that the Côte’s ways of working are implemented and maintained across the region.

The Details:


  • Ensure all key maintenance issues are efficiently managed and communicated with the relevant stakeholders
  • Take ownership of system processes with reduced helpdesk service
  • Oversee and implement planned maintenance schedules across your region
  • Take ownership of the regions maintenance budget and ensure cost control measures are in place
  • Able to prioritise and adapt to the changing needs of the business
  • Collaboratively work with our contractors and measure key KPI’s and SLA’s in accordance within the agreed contracts, in addition to ensuring regular review meetings take place
  • Be both reliable and responsive as the escalation contact for the operations team, and work with the teams to agree practical solutions
  • Attend area and regional meetings to review maintenance processes and action plans as and when required
  • Build relationships across your region through regular site visits to review best practice and support with maintenance issues
  • Take specific ownership of maintenance projects, through managing timelines and budgets and work closely with various stakeholders to communicate the project plans clearly
  • Manage the reactive maintenance budget, including the weekly reporting to the central operations team on maintenance job numbers and spend
  • Review and approve quoted works up to an agreed cost value

All About you!


  • Previous experience within a maintenance/facilities business partner/manager role within a multi-site role
  • Experience and understanding of facilities issues within a commercial environment
  • Previous experience with HVAC or M & E equipment
  • Conversant in the use of CAFM and other End to End management systems
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a knack for multi-tasking
  • Effective time management skills, able to work within tight time frames with ability to plan & prioritise, think clearly, strategically & succinctly
  • Ability to influence & persuade people at all levels both informally & within meeting environments, with a positive outlook and strong influencing skills
  • Excellent team player, collaborating effectively, share best practice as part of a progressive fast paced environment, with the ability to effectively work alone and relatively unsupervised
  • Strong reporting & written skills maintaining accurate documentation & IT skills including Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Flexibility to travel, principally with the region, full driving license
