Build Recruitment are working with a public sector organisation in the East Midlands to source an Interim Health & Safety Manager for a minimum 2month contract. £17 - £19 per hour.
Reporting to the Director of Estates & Facilities, the Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for reviewing the current Health & Safety statement and policies as well as preparing and developing procedures to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Working collaboratively with multiple departments, the Health &Safety Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the client meets all its obligations under Health & Safety and Fire Safety legislation.
It is expected that candidates who apply hold a NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, have had experience of working in a similar role within a multi-site organisation and it is essential that you are immediately available for interview/start.
Applicants will have excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive and collaborative communication style as well as having had experience of working across a complex and mixed-use property portfolio.
