Location: South East
Salary: £70,000 – £75,000

We are recruiting for an experienced PFI Commercial & Contract Manager to join an established organisation operating within the PFI and infrastructure sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong contractual and commercial knowledge to support the effective management of complex PFI contracts, ensuring contractual obligations are understood, risks are managed and performance standards are maintained.
The role requires an individual who can interpret complex contractual arrangements, provide sound commercial advice and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide commercial and contractual support across PFI contracts.
Review contractual obligations and advise on compliance, performance and commercial matters.
Identify potential contractual risks and support the development of appropriate solutions.
Work closely with operational, technical and commercial teams to ensure contractual requirements are met.
Review contractual documentation, performance information and commercial proposals.
Support the management of lifecycle obligations, contract variations and associated commercial matters.
Provide guidance and recommendations to senior stakeholders on contractual issues.
Contribute to continuous improvement in contract management processes and procedures.
Experience & Requirements
Significant experience working within PFI/PPP, facilities management, infrastructure or SPV management.
Strong commercial awareness and experience managing complex contractual arrangements.
Good understanding of PFI Project Agreements, FM subcontracts and associated obligations.
Knowledge of contract performance, lifecycle management and commercial risk.
Ability to interpret contractual documentation and provide practical, commercially sound advice.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders.
Experience supporting PFI expiry or handback activities would be advantageous.
