Salary: £60,000 to £63,000
Location: Central London
Hours: 47.5 hours | 5 days out of 7 | Approx. 80% Monday-Friday

I'm recruiting a Production Head Chef for a major London destination, leading a busy production kitchen supporting multiple food outlets, hospitality and events.
This is a sizeable operation with £5m+ annual food sales, so we're looking for someone who genuinely understands production at scale - strong on food, people, organisation and the numbers behind a successful kitchen.

- Around 80% Monday-Friday
- Typically, only 1-2 weekend days per month

The Operation
- Large central production kitchen.
- Multiple cafés, retail and dining outlets.
- £5m+ annual food sales.
- Fresh sandwiches, salads, soups, wraps and small plates.
- Evening street food and events.
- Strong focus on quality and sustainability.
- Busy seven-day operation.
The Role
- Take ownership of the production kitchen.
- Lead and develop the senior chefs and wider brigade.
- Plan high-volume production across multiple outlets.
- Drive food quality and consistency at scale.
- Manage stock, food costs, labour and waste.
- Maintain excellent food safety and compliance.
- Support hospitality and events when required.
About You
- Experienced Head Chef with high-volume production experience.
- Events, CPU, large hotel, banqueting or contract catering background.
- Strong experience managing and developing kitchen teams.
- Commercially confident with costs, stock and waste.
- Highly organised and comfortable managing serious volume.
- Hands-on, calm and consistent.
