Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Engineer / Facilities Engineer / Building Services Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting a modern workplace environment.

You will play a key role in ensuring operational reliability, technical excellence, and a high-quality workplace experience for clients, employees, and visitors.
The Role As an Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance, ensuring the smooth operation of mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems.
Working as part of a collaborative team, you will contribute to service delivery, system performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Team Collaboration
- Promote a positive, team-focused culture
- Support training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing
- Work collaboratively with engineers and site teams to deliver service excellence
- Deliver engineering services in line with KPIs and SLAs
- Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance
- Maintain systems in accordance with SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Support incident response and emergency situations
- Minimise disruption to client operations and workplace activity
- Follow all Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality (HSEQ) procedures
- Work in line with Safe Systems of Work
- Support risk assessments and safety initiatives
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, and service delivery
- Support initiatives to enhance technical performance and operational standards
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in facilities management, building services, or critical environments
- Strong knowledge of:
- Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems
- Maintenance and fault finding
- Experience with BMS and digital monitoring systems
- IT literate with experience using CAFM / CMMS systems
- HV/LV Authorised Person (AP) (training available)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) or mechanical equivalent
- HNC / HND in Engineering
- IOSH Health & Safety certification
- Experience with Confined Spaces or Pressure Systems
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork ability
- Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
