The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Drainage Engineer to join a growing and dynamic team, supporting a diverse portfolio of commercial properties across the M25 corridor.

Role Overview
As a Commercial Drainage Engineer, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and installation of drainage systems across multiple sites. You will ensure systems operate safely and efficiently while delivering high-quality technical solutions in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Inspection, Maintenance & Technical Delivery
Inspect, survey, and diagnose commercial drainage systems, identifying blockages, leaks, and structural defects
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive drainage works
Deliver drainage installations, repairs, and upgrades across multiple commercial sites
Ensure systems operate efficiently to minimise downtime and disruption
Compliance, Reporting & Standards
Produce detailed technical reports, surveys, and recommendations for remedial works
Ensure all work complies with industry regulations, environmental standards, and statutory requirements
Follow and implement Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
Maintain accurate service records and documentation
Project Support & Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with Facilities Managers, Engineers, Contractors, and Consultants
Support delivery of drainage-related projects to agreed timelines and standards
Provide technical guidance and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
Maintain a professional, client-focused approach at all times
Preventative & Sustainable Solutions
Implement preventative maintenance strategies to reduce flooding and water ingress risks
Identify opportunities for system improvements and performance optimisation
Apply sustainable drainage solutions (SuDS) where appropriate to support environmental and ESG objectives
Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance
Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company policies
Promote safe working practices across all sites
Use equipment, materials, and vehicles in accordance with safety guidelines
Essential Requirements
Proven experience in commercial drainage engineering or a related field
Strong technical knowledge of drainage systems, materials, and installation methods
Experience carrying out CCTV surveys, fault finding, and drainage repairs (desirable)
Ability to work independently across multiple locations and manage workload effectively
Full UK driving licence (essential)
