The Role: Property Manager

Sector: Hotels

Location: Harrogate

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

I am working with a Hotel group who have collection of unique and beautiful properties across the UK. We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on Property Manager to join to oversee the maintenance and facilities function of a busy hotel site.

About the role:

You’ll lead a small on-site team and external contractors, ensuring the property is safe, compliant, and operating at the highest standards for guests. From planned maintenance and budget control to utilities management and sustainability initiatives, you’ll play a key role in driving performance, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.

About you:

You will be ready to take up a leadership role where you’ll manage day-to-day operations, develop your team, and use systems and data to optimise costs and performance. You’ll work closely with hotel leadership to deliver against budgets, improve energy usage, and maintain a high-quality environment across all facilities and grounds. You will have the guest experience at the heart of everything you do and be happy to be forward facing on site, ready to resolve issues and enhance their stay.

We’re looking for someone with experience in facilities or property management within a hospitality or similar environment, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering excellent standards.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Team Leadership – Develop and deploy your team across the hotel and grounds
  • Facilities management – including utilities, energy and sustainability initiatives
  • Supplier and Contractor Management – Ensuring SLAs are met and value is achieved
  • Budget management – Manage the spend and budget for the department, including CAPEX and work with leadership team on forecasting for future years
  • Reporting and Documentation – Ensuring the CAFM system is fully utilised and H&S, Compliance and Brand standards are upheld.
