About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK’s leading Building Services and Facilities Management organisations as a Project Manager.
In this role, you will be responsible for the safe, compliant, and high-quality delivery of Facilities Infrastructure (FI) and Capital Planned Maintenance (CPM) projects, ensuring seamless integration with Business as Usual (BAU) operations.
This position offers excellent long-term career development within a technically complex and fast-paced environment, where you will play a key role in maintaining operational continuity while delivering strategic upgrades and infrastructure improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery
Lead FI and CPM projects, ensuring a zero-risk approach to live operations at all stages.
Manage installations in line with design intent, technical specifications, and approved drawings.
Oversee commissioning activities, ensuring works are witnessed, validated, and formally signed off.
Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for existing site infrastructure, supporting Client Services and Project Design teams.
Project Coordination & Governance
Review and manage project documentation across installation, testing, commissioning, and handover phases.
Coordinate project activities with BAU teams to minimise operational disruption.
Manage project variations in line with contractual and governance procedures.
Maintain daily communication with CS FI and CS CPM teams to ensure alignment and delivery progress.
Contractor & Asset Management
Monitor contractor performance against programme milestones, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
Safeguard the integrity of existing client assets and infrastructure throughout project execution.
Skills & Attributes
Strong leadership capability with the ability to prioritise and resolve issues under pressure.
Highly organised with excellent planning, coordination, and time management skills.
Clear and confident communicator, able to work independently and collaboratively.
Proactive, self-motivated, and accountable with a solution-focused mindset.
Service-driven approach with a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience using CAFM systems for project and asset planning.
Knowledge & Experience
Solid understanding of the Building Services and Facilities Management sector.
Health & Safety qualification (essential).
Minimum five years’ post-training experience in a relevant technical or project delivery role.
Experience within corporate head office or large-scale commercial environments.
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders independently and within large account structures.
Flexible approach to working patterns to meet client and operational requirements.
