The role:
The person:
- Reporting to the Shift Supervisor
- Carrying out preventative maintenance to deadline plus maintain paperwork to support PPM activities
- To respond to reactive and emergency faults and conduct reactive maintenance work to ensure compliance with KPI’s
- To manage sub-contractors as necessary working to a safe system of work and permit-to-work system
- This company has a great reputation for retaining staff
- Brand new building, very high-end site
- Continental shift pattern - days and nights
The person:
- Must hold a recognised electrical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 3 (theory and practice) in a relevant electrical discipline with suitable industry experience
- Experience in building services maintenance is essential
- Engineers must be able to demonstrate appropriate knowledge of AHU, FCU, UPS, Generators, LV systems, which will include the ability to fault find.
- Good communication is essential
- Very client facing role
- Demonstrate good planning, organising and prioritising skills
- Ability to show examples of using initiative and judgement to resolve problems
- Experience in a commercial environment essential
- Must have a good understanding of health & safety best practice; formal training an advantage
