Job Title: Financial Controller
Location: Malta
Total Package: Up to €100,000 (Base + Bonus + Accommodation)
A leading lifestyle and hospitality group is hiring a Financial Controller to support its growing operations in Southern Europe. This is a high-impact role for an experienced finance professional ready to take on broader commercial responsibility in a multi-site, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee monthly management reporting, providing insight into financial performance
- Lead budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with department heads and the CFO
- Manage cash flow, VAT returns, and reporting for both ongoing and upcoming projects
- Coordinate external audits and ensure timely and accurate completion
- Monitor and report on accounts receivable, credit control, and debtors
- Support and guide the finance team in daily operations including cash settlements
Candidate Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA or equivalent)
- 2–3 years’ post-qualification experience, ideally within hospitality, retail, or leisure
- Strong working knowledge of financial systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Excel
- Previous experience in Southern Europe or with Mediterranean markets a plus
- Proficient in English with excellent communication and leadership skills
- EU passport required (due to work permit regulations)
