You will play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems that support 24/7 critical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain LV/MV electrical systems, mechanical plant, HVAC, UPS, and generators
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve faults to maintain maximum system uptime
- Complete Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks
- Carry out authorised high- and low-voltage switching in line with Safe Systems of Work
- Supervise subcontractors, ensuring full compliance with health & safety and operational standards
- Monitor systems and manage faults using BMS, PMS, and CMS platforms
- Completed engineering apprenticeship or equivalent technical qualification
- Proven experience in critical facilities, data centres, or other high-pressure environments
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, and building services
- Confident problem-solver with strong communication and teamwork skills
- NCC, REC, or equivalent certifications (desirable but not essential)
- Work on business-critical infrastructure and intelligent building systems
