Lead Engineer - Building Services (London, UK)I am seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Engineer to join one of our prestigious clients sites. In this role, based in The City of London, you will primarily oversee maintenance tasks across this large critical complex of buildings. You will spend a mixture of your day focusing on leadership & seniority duties, with the flexibility in performing hands-on PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance tasks on M&E & building systems.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the day-to-day activities within the engineering team and contractors, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.
• Perform your delegated PPM and reactive maintenance tasks when required, ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
• Monitor and track KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds contract requirements.
• Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met, taking proactive measures to address any issues.
• Manage and enforce RAMs (Risk Assessment Method Statements) and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure maintenance tasks are performed to the highest standards and within compliance guidelines.

Requirements:
• SC clearance
• Proven experience in a similar M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) maintenance leadership role.
• City & Guilds /NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent in Electrical discipline
• Knowledge of PPM, reactive maintenance, and M&E systems.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
