About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance and Compliance Surveyor to cover properties across the South of England. This is a key role ensuring homes are safe, compliant, and well-maintained.
You will manage compliance across multiple areas, including gas, electrical, fire safety, asbestos, and legionella, while overseeing planned, reactive, and compliance works. The role involves property inspections, contractor management, and project delivery, ensuring excellent customer service and value for money.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage compliance for gas, electrical, fire safety, asbestos, and legionella
- Oversee planned, reactive, and compliance works, ensuring quality and safety standards
- Conduct property surveys (void and occupied) and scope required works
- Manage contractor performance, budgets, and financial controls
- Carry out stock condition surveys and update property data
- Ensure new property handovers meet required standards
- Undertake audits, risk assessments, and safety inspections
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
About You
- Strong knowledge of building construction, standards, and legislation
- Experience in responsive repairs, voids, and planned maintenance
- Track record of managing building works and compliance programmes
- Understanding of fire risk assessments and FRA regulations
- Minimum 2 years’ post-qualified experience in property management
- HNC or equivalent qualification
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to work independently
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the South
