Commencing salary £66,030 per annum

We are currently looking to appoint our new Facilities Manager who will be responsible for the management of compliance protocols involved in maintaining Hamilton House and the services provided, ensure occupiers of the building operate in a healthy and safe environment.
In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager – Facilities & Property Management and be responsible for managing and leading the Facilities team, including cleaning operatives. You will develop a strategy to deliver agreed objectives and priorities, manage all tender exercises and building contracts, and ensure specifications are accurate and service level agreements are appropriate and monitored. You will also ensure that staff receive suitable and sufficient training to perform their duties, including regular tool talks and team training sessions, as well as conducting building induction training for new employees.
Prospective applicants must hold a NEBOSH - National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety and a NEBOSH - Fire Safety & Risk Management qualification. They must demonstrate proven experience and a thorough understanding of all regulations and requirements necessary to ensure the safe and efficient operation of a medium-sized office building. Applicants are also advised that due to the nature of the work, the role is fully office based.
In addition to salary, we offer good conditions including 35 days’ annual leave plus Christmas closure days and a defined benefit pension scheme. Salary and benefits are pro-rata for part-time applicants.
