Position: Electrician (Mobile)
Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands (Commutable from Birmingham, Bilston, Dudley, Cannock, Oldbury, Shifnal, Smethwick, Stourbridge, Tipton, Telford, Walsall, Wednesbury, West Bromwich)
Salary: £37K - £42K (depending on experience and qualifications). Van, tools, & fuel card provided.

PRS has engaged with a new client and an established electrical & mechanical services provider for commercial and domestic projects across the Midlands. Due to team expansion and winning new contracts, we are seeking 2 approved Electricians to join this successful business on a permanent basis.

Description

Within the maintenance electrician (mobile) role you will be working within a team carrying out all planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks across the client portfolio. This will include breakdowns, fault-find and repairs. You will be working over a diverse property portfolio therefore a flexible approach is required.
You will be operating in close proximately of your home location and attending costumer sites in the West Midlands. Typically, in less than a 30 minute travel time.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • To undertake planned and reactive maintenance tasks on electrical equipment/systems & controls.
  • To cover all maintenance of electrical distribution, controls, lighting, emergency systems, building services plant room electrical systems.
  • To complete PPM’s in line with SLA and KPI agreements
  • To provide Electrical H&S and compliance engineering on each facility
  • To carryout fault finding on systems
  • To undertake electrical works on the BMS, power supply, lighting, power generation, HVAC, UPS, A/C units, etc
  • To respond to Helpdesk requests, providing a professional and timely service
  • Call out 1 in 8 (£100 for call out)
Skills & Background Required
Full UK driving licence
Recognised professional qualification e.g. City & Guilds 236 Electrical Installation Part 1 & 2 or NVQ Level 3
18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
Proven building maintenance experience within a commercial environment
Must be presentable and reliable
Able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally
Strong planning and workload management skills with the ability to manage short term and long-term activities to agreed deadlines
