FACILITIES MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT x2
Based in the NEU Head Office (London WC1H 9BD)
Permanent, full-time
Shift 1: 8am to 4pm; Shift 2: 12noon to 8pm Mon-Fri.
There is a need for flexibility to cover late events and absences. Regular weekend working available for additional payment.
Commencing salary £38,565 per annum

The successful candidates will be responsible for undertaking health and safety checks around the building, assisting with evacuation responsible for opening and closing the building.
Ability to identify faults on electrical and plumbing systems. To carry out basic plumbing and carpentry tasks e.g., lock installations, change or repair taps.
The day-to-day setting up of meeting rooms and dealing with AV technical queries. Assisting with the management of contractors.
Prospective applicants will need basic IT skills including Microsoft Office suite and to use different pieces of IT equipment, and the ability of good personal presentation and customer service skills.
In addition to salary, we offer good conditions including 33 days’ annual leave plus Christmas closure days and a defined benefit pension scheme. Salary will be calculated pro-rata for part-time applicants.
