We have partnered with a growing Total Facilities Management group who are looking to expand their projects management capabilities across Mechanical and Engineering and construction projects for their clients
About the Role
We are looking for Project Managers to oversee Hard Facilities Management (FM), construction and Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) projects nationwide. The successful candidates will play a pivotal role in the planning, coordination, and delivery of multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Lead and manage Hard FM and M&E projects from inception to completion, ensuring all deliverables are met in line with client requirements and industry standards.
- Team Coordination: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and site supervisors, to drive successful project outcomes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain clear communication with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, providing regular progress updates and addressing any issues promptly.
- Budget and Schedule Control: Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring efficient resource allocation and commercial control over assigned projects.
- Health and Safety: Ensure all projects comply with relevant health and safety regulations, and promote a culture of safety on site.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee project handovers, including the preparation of manuals and documentation, to ensure a seamless transition and client satisfaction
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project delivery efficiency.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management, ideally within Hard FM, M&E, or related construction sectors
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of building services, mechanical and electrical systems, and project management methodologies.
- Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate teams, with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Organisational Skills: Strong planning, budgeting, and scheduling capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously3.
- Qualifications: Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., APM, PRINCE2) or equivalent experience are desirable.
