Asset Manager
Salary: Competetive salary plus car allowance and bonus
Location: Wiltshire
Working Pattern: Hybrid - site-based Wiltshire, home working, and office time
We're recruiting for an Asset Manager on behalf of a leading organisation delivering asset and lifecycle management services on a long-term public sector contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the strategic planning and allocation of full lifecycle budget across a multi-site FM contract
Lead the asset management function, ensuring compliance with contractual and statutory requirements
Work collaboratively with subcontractors to ensure planned lifecycle works are delivered on time and within budget
Monitor risk, manage change control processes, and ensure robust governance across all lifecycle activities
Provide technical input into lifecycle planning, investment decisions, and contract negotiations
Act as a key point of contact for the client, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring their requirements are fully understood and met
Prepare and present business cases and project proposals for board approval
Analyse asset performance data to drive investment decisions and continuous improvement
Support the mobilisation of new works and contract variations, ensuring alignment with FM strategy
Essential Requirements
- Strong technical background (MRICS, CIBSE, or M&E qualified)
Excellent commercial and negotiation skills
Experience managing lifecycle budgets and asset strategies
Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and boards
