Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and inspire a team of chefs and kitchen staff
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of a high-volume kitchen
- Create and execute innovative, seasonal menus that meet both budget and customer expectations
- Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to at all times
- Maintain stock levels, manage food costs, and ensure waste is kept to a minimum
- Handle client communication and ensure satisfaction with every service
- Train, mentor, and develop junior chefs, promoting a positive team culture
- Previous experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef, or in a similar leadership role within a high-turnover, contract catering environment
- Strong management skills with a focus on team development and staff morale
- Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
- Ability to manage large teams and work well under pressure
- A passion for creating exceptional food experiences, with an eye for quality and presentation
- A solid understanding of cost control and food waste management
- Must hold a Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate
- Salary of up to £40k depending on experience
