300 North Recruitment are seeking an experienced Contract Manager on behalf of a leading passive fire protection contractor in Yorkshire.
The client has a large volume of fire safety works across the North West, Yorkshire and Midlands including fire door, fire stopping and surveying projects. They predominantly cover Healthcare, Commercial and Residential clients however work can be varied.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Good understanding and background within Passive Fire Protection preferably both fire doors and fire stopping but either will be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Contract Manager within any construction sector.
- An in-date SMSTS.
- The ability to spend time on the road conducting meetings with clients and site teams.
- A passion for fire safety and the importance it plays in protecting lives.
- An understanding of full project lifecycle and experience handling the client experience from initial query to project handover.
Role Responsibilities:
- Managing admin tasks including the completion of Risk Assessments, Method Statements and storage of safety documentation.
- Keeping updated with current health and safety and fire safety legislation and requirements.
- Overseeing and inspection of works to ensure a good finish and compliance with safety standards and manufacturers details.
- Planning workloads for labour and material deliveries.
- Meeting clients to carry out site inspections, prestart meetings and project handovers.
