Lifecycle Project Manager

Join us in Exeter for an exciting opportunity as a Lifecycle Project Manager, offered on a 6-month fixed-term contract with the potential for permanency. With a salary range of £50,000 to £55,000, you'll be at the forefront of overseeing the transformation of five PFI schools!

In this dynamic position, you'll collaborate closely with our maintenance team, acting as the driving force behind project management. Your key responsibilities will include liaising with customers to accurately price and execute works, effectively managing subcontractors, and ensuring seamless project delivery.

As the Lifecycle Project Manager, you'll:


  • Take the helm as Lifecycle Project Manager for our valued contract client, overseeing Buildings, Fabric, Fixtures & M&E, and Asset Management services.
  • Hold accountability for the day-to-day performance of all contractors involved in project delivery.
  • Champion health and safety practices, keeping a keen eye on budgets and maximizing efficiency.
  • Generate comprehensive management reports and forecasts, ensuring transparency and clarity in all project aspects.
  • Conduct regular service audits to maintain quality standards.
  • Craft meticulous work specifications and pricing documentation, leaving no detail overlooked.
  • Nurture strong relationships with the Contract Manager to uphold exceptional customer service standards.

If you're the ideal candidate, you'll possess:


  • Proven experience in a Small Works/Lifecycle PM role within an FM contract setting.
  • Familiarity with PFI contracts or educational environments, ideally both.
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities to manage concurrent project workflows.
  • Strong written communication skills for clear and concise reporting.
  • Ideally, mechanical or electrical qualifications to bolster technical expertise.
  • A solid understanding of health and safety protocols.
  • A valid driving license and the ability to obtain DBS clearance.
